Interestingly, the eBay seller has a lengthy disclaimer saying that the manual is licensed under GNU/GPL. More complete and specific than Haynes tends to be, but Haynes tells you how to do things if you don't have the official factory tools like "Oil Seal Installer 094452-26100". As pnoman said, there's no index, but (perhaps depending on your pdf reader, I use PDF-Xchange) there's a "thumb index" that will take you to the appropriate chapter, at least. It seems to be the same manual, at least I found one of his sample pages in the Tradebit copy I just bought.) Very nice, I'm not ever going to rebuild the engine, but sooner or later may have to take a door apart or something like that. The Tradebit manual does read like an actual manual as published by Kia. Some different years and manuals with electronics sections are between $10-$15. Just go to the Search at the top of the page shown and type in 2012 Kia Soul or 2011 Kia Soul and you will get the lists of manuals available. If you get one for a different year, make sure it's the same cover since there are other types of manuals offered. There are books available for other years too if you go to the link and start searching. You get 2 books, one for the 2013 Soul 1.6 and one for the 2.0 - each over 1300 pages. This is a quick 5 - 10 minute download and paid through PayPal. You can PM me and I will mail my index to you. I'm sharing it for free if anyone else has the same manual. So, I started slowly whittling away at it and typed up an index for the 2013 1.6 book. The problem is - there is no index, so finding stuff is frustrating and time-consuming. You get 2 books - one for the 1.6 and one for the 2.0. Cost was $10 (PayPal) and it was a quick and easy download.

In January, I ordered a Service/Repair Manual for my 2013 Soul 1.6 online at TradeBit.

It deals with my 2013 but they have all years available. This is copied from an earlier reply I made to another reader. I'm just a satisfied customer who wants to share this along with the index I typed up.) (Disclaimer - I do not work for TradeBit or have any financial interest in the company.
